L’argomento I.S.T.A. 2012 è ; i partecipanti alla conferenza illustreranno il profilo di alcuni antiche comunità delle Alpi in epoca medievale e moderna.
Le antiche comunità alpine erano enti territoriali intermedi tra i comuni locali e i poteri superiori sviluppatesi in epoca medievale e moderna (es. Comunità di Valle Camonica, Magnifica Patria della Riviera, Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme...).
L’obiettivo del convegno è quello di tracciare un profilo di tali organismi dalle più antiche testimonianze fino alla loro estinzione o evoluzione, attraverso una comparazione tra le diverse aree dell’arco alpino.
Nello specifico si andranno ad illustrare gli aspetti storici, sociali, economici e politici delle antiche comunità, con il fine di comprenderne le nature e le capacità di essersi guadagnate autonomie privilegiate rispetto ai territori circostanti nel corso del tempo.
L’incontro è aperto agli studenti, ai ricercatori e agli interessati all’argomento che desiderino fornire un proprio contributo scritto. |

2012 I.S.T.A. conference theme is ; the participants in the conference will illustrate the outline of some ancient communities of the Alps in medieval and in early modern age.
The ancient alpine communities, which developed in the medieval and modern times, were territorial authorities in intermediate position between local communes and higher powers.
The aim of the conference is to outline these administrative bodies from the most ancient evidences up to their extinction or evolution, through a comparison among the different areas of the Alpine arc.
Specifically, the historical, social, economic and political aspects of the ancient communities will be illustrated in order to understand the natures and the capabilities which allowed them to gain privileged autonomies in comparison with the surrounding territories.
The attendance to the conference is free and open to the students, to the researchers and to all those interested in the topic.
